Transducers are matched by connector and by the sonar channels your display supports (traditional, CHIRP, down or side imaging). Some brands use a "mix & match" cable so one transducer fits several displays. Send us your display model when you order — we confirm compatibility before we invoice.

Transom mounts are the easiest install and suit most outboard boats. Thru-hull transducers give the cleanest signal at speed and in deep water but need a hole through the hull. In-hull (shoot-through) units glue inside a solid fiberglass hull — no hole, slight signal loss.

Instead of a single frequency, a CHIRP transducer sweeps a range of frequencies in each pulse. That separates fish from each other and from structure far more clearly, especially at depth.

Lower frequencies reach deeper with a wider cone; higher frequencies show more detail in shallower water. Many anglers pair a high CHIRP channel for inshore detail with a low or medium channel for depth.

Unused items in original packaging can be returned within 30 days. Transducers that have been installed (drilled, glued or wired) can't be returned for change of mind — another reason to check compatibility with us first.
